Club Brugge followed up their 1-0 defeat in the Belgian Cup final against Antwerp with a defeat by the same scoreline in their 2020-21 Belgian Jupiler Pro League season opener against Charleroi last Saturday, and although it is too early to get carried away they do come into this game needing to put in a strong performance. Eupen managed to pick up a point away from home against Club Brugge last season so they certainly won’t fear the task ahead of them.
