THE PREDICTION

After a frustrating outing against Nigeria in which they opened their AFCON campaign with a 1-0 loss, Egypt bounced back with a win over Guinea-Bissau but it was a far from convincing display. The Egyptians needed a 69^th minute goal from Mo Salah to break the deadlock as they opened their account for the tournament. They will now look to build on that as they take on Sudan and having failed to win any of their last 13 matches in all competitions, the Sudanese have it all to do here. They were on the end of a 3-1 loss to Nigeria in their latest contest and while Egypt have failed to fire so far, they should have enough quality to claim a comfortable success in this matchup.
