THE PREDICTION

Elche are set for a long and hard relegation battle to end this season. The Valencians, though, come into this on the back of three successive victories in all competitions, including back-to-back wins in the league. They now come up against a Real Madrid side fresh off winning the Supercopa in Saudi Arabia last week. Carlo Ancelotti’s side will expect that to be the first trophy of a few so far this season.
