Finland vs Austria prediction

After having made a great start to the tournament, Austria have fallen apart defensively of late and need to turn things around if they are to maintain their place in the top four with the likes of Latvia and USA lurking ominously. The Austrians have shipped more goals than any Group A nation aside from the bottom two, which underlines their biggest issue.

Unfortunately for Austria, they are taking on a Finnish side who are averaging just under five goals a game and boast a defence matched only by group leaders Switzerland with just five goals conceded. These factors make them huge favourites over Austria and their attacking prowess should ultimately overwhelm the Austrian defensemen.
