'Team TSZ' is a collective FPL team where tough decisions are made during uncompromising board room meetings. Team TSZ finished a lofty 1390 in its debut year, and followed that up with a respectable 88178 in its second season. we don't talk about the third season. How will the fourth season go? Stay tuned!

‘Team TSZ’ consists of:

Trystan Pugh

Alex Sarwar

It was yet another disappointing gameweek for Team TSZ last time out, with another red arrow dragging the side into the obscurity of near-400k in the world. Hilariously, finally bringing on Emmanuel Dennis resulted in just two points, whilst benching Michail Antonio resulted in five. As the greater FPL community continues to get trolled by every single forward in the game, captaining Cristiano Ronaldo this week against Norwich is actually a risk. Imagine that! This is certainly one of the tougher FPL seasons in recent memory and COVID-19 has reared its ugly head once more to postpone Spurs' fixture with Brighton. Double (or triple??) gameweek madness will likely ensue at some point. It’s all very tiring, isn’t it?

GAMEWEEK 16 TEAM

Formation: 3-4-3
Captain: Salah
Vice-captain: Ronaldo
Transfers made: 2 (Gunn > Bachmann / Sarr > Gray)
Point deductions: 0

Logging into Skype is always a lottery and so whilst I spent five minutes trying to coax it into allowing me to hear Trystan and Alex I am reliably informed they discussed how Team TSZ is on its knees. Ismaila Sarr had to go, it was clear, but the 50/50 call on Emile Smith Rowe and Maxwell Cornet’s unfortunate injury as well as Robert Sanchez’s postponed fixture left too many fires to put out at once.

Candidates for Sarr’s replacement were Conor Gallagher and Jarrod Bowen, with the West Ham man looking likely if not for another little problem: Team TSZ is rubbish AND broke. Money-making schemes were thrown around for a few minutes but without making at least three transfers (my favourite) it was clear that the two had to come up with a “Plan B” (#topical). A flash of genius via Alex sees Demarai Gray come in for the injured Sarr, with Watford’s second-choicer Daniel Bachmann coming in for Angus Gunn in possibly the most exciting transfer in recent memory.

Getting 11 players out on the pitch is a small achievement this week, with hopes resting squarely on Captain Salah’s shoulders once again to keep this ailing side out of the quicksand. Both Antonio and Dennis start, so that means two points all ‘round.
