Denmark vs Sweden prediction

The semi-finals saw Denmark run out of steam after stunning Canada in the last eight. They couldn’t replicate those levels of performance and wound up on the end of a 7-0 thrashing at the hands of Switzerland. Sweden meanwhile, lost a thriller 6-2 against USA, a frustrating outcome for a side who had won six of their seven group stage fixtures.

Denmark do look burnt out at this point having given so much in the competition and to pick themselves and back up and play again the day after losing so heavily to Switzerland makes this bronze medal match a tough assignment. In the end, back Sweden to pick up where Switzerland left off and gain more offensive joy over Denmark, winning a bronze medal in the process.
