Neither player really had to break sweat in the round of 16 with James Wade seeing off Rowby-John Rodriguez 10-2 and Rob Cross dispatching Ryan Joyce 10-4. This is also the second meeting of the tournament between the pair with Wade producing a devastating performance in the group stage meeting when he averaged 111.71 in a 5-2 victory. Cross will be keen for revenge here and is clearly approaching the form that saw him lift the world title in 2018, and this is likely going to be a nip and tuck battle that could well go the distance. Over 27.5 legs looks a decent market to back in this one, and it's a toss if a coin as to who will come out on top.
