THE PREDICTION
The key to this encounter is the respective strength-in-depth of both teams from a batting perspective. Whilst Islamabad United have shown that they have players capable of accumulating big scores should their openers fail, Karachi Kings are yet to really prove that they can accrue a substantial total without a major contribution from skipper Babar. Although Ian Cockbain showed signs of promise against Peshawar Zalmi, the middle order of Karachi Kings isn’t of the same level as Islamabad United and this should ultimately play a major part in the latter sentencing the Kings to a fifth straight PSL 7 loss.
