Canada vs Slovenia prediction

Canada passed their toughest test so far in Group B on Thursday as they edged past Norway 5-4, with Mark Scheifele scoring the winning goal in overtime. It was a poor performance overall from Canada after a lacklustre start saw them fall two goals behind early on. But they bounced back and after a crazy third period, wound up making it 4-4 late on, forcing overtime.

Slovenia meanwhile, felt the effect of losing a shootout to Slovakia in a match they will have felt was winnable. With that players’ heads likely having dropped, Sweden took full advantage and thrashed Slovenia 6-0 last time out, ending the game in the second period. Canada are expected to bounce back after a poor showing and reassert their domination of the group stage over this Slovenian squad.
