Camila Osorio vs Ann Li prediction

Camila Osorio is coming off a battling performance against Taylor Townsend in Cincinnati as she was edged out in three sets but she will be hoping to get some wins under her belt this week.

She has a good record in Monterrey having reached the final back in 2022 but she has a tough opening match against Ann Li.

Li was able to get through one round at Cincinnati as she beat Zhang Shuai before she lost to Coco Gauff. She has been playing reasonably well but has been unfortunate to meet some of the top women on tour in recent tournaments.

They have met five times before on the WTA Tour with Li having won five of those meetings. Li has won the last two matches including one earlier this year in the Australian Open with both coming on hard surfaces.

Three of the last four meetings have gone to a third set and it would be no surprise if this does also. There is little to separate the two players and we expect this to go to a deciding set while our marginal preference is with the American.
