Brazen Arrow could not complete a double last time out as he was edged into second but there was still plenty to like in what was solid handicap company. That was over 6f but will drop back to 5f and the speed he has shown of late suggests he will suit this trip.

Abingworth was very green on debut but still managed to place in second having finished well. He will come on from that effort and should have learned some lessons which can see him improve on his last showing which could be enough to get his nose in front on this occasion.

Jenson Benson is a consistent type and has not finished outside of the top three in any of his last six races. He was second by a neck last time out which came on this course in January while he is also a past C&D winner. He will have to deal with a 2lb rise for his run last month but that was an impressive handicap with the form since being franked so he can go one better this time around.
