He was also second in his previous outing and was in the frame several times before that so a first success is surely not far away and he has every chance of achieving it here.

This looks like a wide-open affair but preference is just for Eaton Collina. The lightly-raced hurdler produced a strong showing on reappearance, finishing second with that form likely to stand up well and with a stiffer track lying in wait here which should suit, Kerry Lee’s seven-year-old can be in the mix once again in this contest.

Vindobala has done a solid job of late and can overturn the form to get the better of Abnaa in this hotly-contested race. The filly finished just a neck behind her rival over C&D 14 days ago but comes into this off the same mark on the back of her first run of the year. She should come on for that effort and having won over C&D in the past, the four-year-old can come out on top this time around.
