Argentina vs Scotland prediction

Argentina have been hugely competitive over the last couple of years, recording victories over all of the southern hemisphere giants, but they do still appear to have that inconsistent streak in their DNA.

They played their part in a hugely competitive Rugby Championship tournament last year, while they recorded victories over Wales, and indeed Scotland, in November.

Revenge will be on the mind for the Scots after that 33-24 defeat at Murrayfield Stadium, given that they were leading 21-0 before completely collapsing in the second half.

There are plenty of reasons for Gregor Townsend's side to be confident though, as they were the only team to defeat eventual winners France at the Six Nations this year. They were even in contention for the title heading into the final weekend, before losing to Ireland.

With this match taking place in Cordoba, you have to feel Argentina have the edge. In what promises to be a competitive encounter to round off the first ever Nations Championship round, we think the hosts will just edge it.

Argentina vs Scotland tip: Argentina to win
