- Wigan hammered a poor Leeds side last week as they overcame their disappointing late defeat to Castleford in the previous week. The Warriors ran in seven tries as they proved far too good for the Rhinos in a 46-8 win.
- Youngster Samy Kibula could make his debut after he was named in the 19-man squad. Callum Field also comes into the squad with Joe Greenwood out with an ankle injury and Romain Navarette suspended.
- Wigan’s win last week was their seventh at the DW Stadium this season with the Warriors boasting the only unbeaten home record in the Super League.

- Warrington were given a scare by Salford last week before eventually seeing off the Red Devils. Just six points separated the teams before two tries in the final 10 minutes sealed the win for the Wolves in a 30-14 win.
- Chris Hill and Stefan Ratchford return to the side having been rested last week following the Denver Test. They replace the injured pair Ben Pomeroy and Ben Murdoch-Masila.
- Warrington have won their last five Super League matches away from home in a run that stretches back to March.
THE PREDICTION
Second host third in a huge Super League contest in front of the Sky cameras on Friday night. Warrington can draw level on points with Wigan if they can come away from the DW Stadium with a win but face a tough test against a side that haven’t lost at home all season. The Wolves have been good away from home with them winning their last five Super League matches on the road. They have also beaten Wigan on two occasions this season with the most recent win coming in a 23-0 Challenge Cup win last month but the Warriors will have revenge on their mind. Their home record speaks for itself and that can be extended here with a win in what should be a cracking contest.
