  • Canterbury came out on top in a thrilling contest against New Zealand Warriors last week. Lachlan Lewis’ field goal separated the two teams with his 78th minute effort edging the Bulldogs to a 27-26 win.

  • The Bulldogs are unchanged which means Matt Frawley retains his starting jersey and Jeremy Marshall-King on the interchange bench.

  • Canterbury have won three of their last four games but are still in danger of claiming the wooden spoon. A win here would ensure they avoid that unwanted accolade.

THE PREDICTION

St George looked like they had turned the corner from their poor run of form last week but will need to back that up here against Canterbury. The Bulldogs have won three of their last four games and have been much improved with their more fluid style of play. That could cause problems for the Dragons who will have to be on their guard as a defeat could see them slip back out of the top 4 having regained their place in it last week. This should be a high-scoring Sunday afternoon contest but the Dragons should just have enough on home soil.
