THE TEAM NEWS
SWEDEN
- Sweden edged past Switzerland in the Round of 16 thanks to Forsberg's goal but it was nothing more than they deserved after a strong display
- They will have to make a change at right-back as Lustig is suspended for this match so Krafth will be asked to deputise in his absence
- Larsson remains an injury doubt due to the knock he took to his head so it may be that Svensson continues alongside Ekdal in midfield
Predicted line-up (4-4-2):
Olsen
Krafth, Lindelof, Granqvist, Augustinsson
Claessen, Svensson, Ekdal, Forsberg
Toivonen, Berg
Unavailable: Lustig
Doubtful: Larsson
ENGLAND
- England finally won a penalty shootout for the first time at a major tournament since 1996 to beat Colombia and move into the quarter-finals
- They have two injury concerns as both Alli and Vardy picked up knocks in that feisty affair with Colombia and will face late fitness tests
- Fatigue could well be a factor for them after a draining game in which several players like Kane, Walker and Young all struggled with cramp
Predicted line-up (3-4-2-1):
Pickford
Walker, Stones, Maguire
Trippier, Henderson, Alli, Young
Lingard, Sterling
Kane
Unavailable: None
Doubtful: Vardy
THE PREDICTION
Sweden are proving to be one of the toughest sides to beat in the tournament and they are doing so by staying organised at the back and producing an incredible work rate. This will not be easy for a potentially tired England team, and goals will certainly be tough to come by for both sides.
