USA vs Denmark prediction

USA needed to be sparked into life when facing Latvia and conceding an equalising goal after opening the scoring initially appeared to do the trick. Following a likely dressing down in the locker room from head coach Mike Sullivan with the score at 1-1, USA came out for the second period looking more like what you would expect and three goals gave them clear daylight before they added a fifth in the third.

Denmark lacked potency against Germany, scoring just once across three periods and that’s not a good sign for their prospects in this one. Especially with USA expected to find the net as many times as we saw against Latvia with the offensive class among their roster. Any outcome other than a thumping USA victory over the Danes would be a shock.
