Alpine Skiing: Men’s giant slalom | 12.30pm (UK)

Marco Odermatt won his only Olympic gold in this event in Beijing four years ago and he has been left frustrated with just a silver in the team combined event and then a bronze in the super-G but the Swiss skier remains favourite to defend his crown in Milano-Cortina.

Prediction: Marco Odermatt (SUI) to win

Biathlon: Women’s individual | 1.45pm (UK)

In the mixed relay, France took gold in the Biathlon before taking home the gold and silver medal in the women’s individual the other day – and Lou Jeanmonnot and Julia Simon are expected to challenge for gold again, with Sweden’s Elvira Oberg also in contention.

Prediction: FRA to win two medals

Cross-Country Skiing: Women’s 4x7.5km Relay | 11am (UK)

Saturday lunchtime also sees the final of the women’s 4x7.5km relay in the Cross-Country Skiing, whereby Sweden, who dominated the women’s 10km interval start with gold and silver, are the heavy favourites.

Prediction: SWE to win

Freestyle Skiing: Women’s dual moguls | 10.48am (UK)

In the morning on Saturday, the exciting women’s dual moguls take place throughout the day with the round of 32 and the round of 16 ahead of the medal races with a close battle between long-time rivals Jakara Anthony, 2022 moguls champion, of Australia, and Jaelin Kauf – a semi-finalist in the 2022 and 2026 moguls. The pair missed out on gold to Elizabeth Lemley in the moguls this year, with Perrin Laffon taking the bronze.

Short Track: Men’s 1500m | 9.42pm (UK)

The men’s 1500m Short Track final takes place on Saturday night after the four quarter-finals and two semi-finals just beforehand with William Dandjinou expected to take the crown.

Prediction: William Dandjinou (CAN) to win

Ski Jumping: Men’s large hill individual | 6.57pm (UK)

In the men’s Ski Jumping, the men’s large hill individual takes place in the evening with two runs, the second of which decides the medals in a slightly more open field, albeit one that still features a heavy favourite.

Prediction: Domen Prevc (SVN)

Speed Skating: Men’s 500m | 5.30pm (UK)

The men’s 500m Speed Skating final takes place on Saturday night afternoon and there is a heavy favourite with Jordan Stolz aiming for his second gold after winning the men’s 1000m the other day.

Prediction: Jordan Stolz (USA) to win

Other events

Curling: Men’s and women’s preliminaries | 8.05am – 1.05pm (UK)

Team GB continue their pursuit to put things right in the Curling with a clash against Canada in the women’s tournament, while the men’s preliminaries also continue throughout the day on Saturday. 

Freestyle Skiing: Women’s big air | 6.30pm – 8pm (UK)

Following on from the women’s dual moguls concluding in the morning, there is then the first three runs of qualifying in the women’s big air in the Freestyle Skiing in the evening.

Ice Hockey: Men’s preliminaries & women’s quarter-finals | 11.10am – 8.10pm (UK)

The women’s quarter-finals in the Ice Hockey conclude on Saturday as Canada face Germany and Finland take on Switzerland, while the preliminary round of the men’s competition also continues throughout the course of the day.

Short Track: Women’s 3000m qualifying and semi-finals | 8.01pm – 9.12pm (UK)

While there is a medal event in the men’s Short Track on Saturday, there is also the build up to another final on Sunday with qualification and the semi-finals taking place in the women’s 3000m.
