The 32-year-old recently claimed the fifth WTA title of her career at the Palermo Ladies Open and she also reached the round of 16 at Roland-Garros for some serious clay form in 2022 and that should be more than enough to see her past Matilde Paoletti. 19-year-old Paoletti received a wildcard to the main draw of only her second tour-level tournament and she claimed her first tour win on Tuesday, beating Gabriela Lee in three sets. The Italian will be well-backed by the home crowd here but Begu should be far too experienced to drop the ball at this stage. Back the Romanian to win in straight sets.
