THE PREDICTION

World number 100 Flavio Cobolli provided the first shock of the Next gen ATP Finals with a four-set victory over Dominic Stricker on Tuesday but he was comfortably beaten by top seed Arthur Fils on Wednesday. The 21-year-old stands a chance at qualifying for the semi-finals but he would have to beat compatriot Luca Nardi here, who is already out despite taking Fils to five sets in defeat on Tuesday, and hope that Fils beats Stricker in straight sets. World number 115 Nardi came in to Jeddah at a career-high ATP world ranking after some strong work on the Challenger circuit in recent months but Cobolli should be able to edge the win here with more to play for in their first encounter. Back both players to win a set or take Cobolli to win at least two as the likelier of two capable victors.

BETTING TIP: FLAVIO COBOLLI TO WIN TWO SETS
