33-year-old Shuai Zhang won her first WTA title in five years, and her third overall, at the Lyon Open last Sunday with a comeback victory over Dayana Yastremska. The world number 41 reached the third round of the Australian Open back in January to suggest a run like this was on the cards and she will be confident of extending her five-match winning streak here as she leads Daria Saville 2-1 in their tour-level head-to-head record. 28-year-old Saville is an anomaly in the WTA word rankings at 409th as a former world number 20 but she is in the long road back after spending huge swathes of time off the court over the last few seasons. The Aussie qualified well this week but it is hard to look past Shuai Zhang’s form here. Three sets is distinctly possible, so take the Chinese player to win outright.
