World number two Carlos Alcaraz is visibly growing into the Buenos Aires tournament with each passing round as he makes his return form injury suffered at the Paris Masters last year. A three-set opener over Laslo Djere was a useful early test but the 19-year-old has conceded fewer games with each round after a comprehensive victory over Bernabe Zapata Miralles on Saturday. World number 12 Cam Norrie grabbed his first straight-sets results of the week over Juan Pablo Varillas yesterday but the Brit now faces a huge step-up in quality. 27-year-old Norrie has struggled to find his most ruthless best on tour this season but at his peak abilities last season he twice took Alcaraz to three sets in tight circumstances before defeat. Alcaraz leads their head-to-head record 4-0, though, and he can be backed to edge things here to pick up the seventh ATP title of is career.
