37-year-old John Isner remains a serious threat on hardcourts and grass with his notorious serve, although the veteran has been caught out by up-and-coming Americans of late in Maxime Cressy and Jenson Brooksby. It took three tight tiebreakers to get past world number 49 Benjamin Bonzi in their first encounter last month at the Hall of Fame Open and the Frenchman has seen his last three matches go to a decider as he continues to improve on tour, most recently in a defeat to Frances Tiafoe in Montreal this week. Take at least a tiebreak in the match, given their previous meeting last month, and for Isner to win at least a set as the likelier victor.
