Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Mattia Bellucci Prediction

Sixth-seed Stefanos Tsitsipas had to come through a real battle in the round of 16 as he edged past Tallon Griekspoor 6-7 7-6 7-5 to make it through to the quarter-finals. The 26-year-old had eased through his first round match against Harold Mayot but Griekspoor really pushed him and the manner of that win will give him a real boost.

He now meets Mattia Bellucci who he faces for the first time on the ATP Tour. Bellucci comes off a stunning 6-3 6-7 6-3 win over Daniil Medvedev in the round of 16 and that is arguably the best win of his relatively short career. It is the first win he has achieved over a top ten opponent and the 23-year-old will be buzzing after that win.

There will likely be something of a come down after that win but he is going to have to hit similar levels if he is to beat Tsitsipas. The Greek will expect another battle here and we have a leaning towards him here to just edge what could be another tough three-setter.
