Slovakia vs USA prediction

USA came through a very stern test against Switzerland, winning 2-1 in Saint Paul. Another big challenge is coming their way here in the form of Slovakia, who were beaten narrowly by Sweden in their first match but bounced back quickly with a comfortable 4-1 win over Germany. Slovakia made the most of their advantages in that game when they came by scoring two powerplay goals, so USA’s discipline will need to be on point.

This is a contest that could go either way. The two goaltenders will no doubt have huge roles to play. USA’s attacking production so far combined with home advantage perhaps tips the scales slightly in their favour, so consider backing them to edge past Slovakia.
