THE PREDICTION
Edinburgh will be desperate to play on home soil after losing each of their last three United Rugby Championship matches, each of them coming on the road at Ospreys, Leinster and most recently Munster. They had topped the URC table late last year after some serious form but one win from their last six matches across all competitions is a worrying decline ahead of hosting Connacht who are right behind them. The visitors look to have put some poor form behind them after a four-match losing streak of their own across the URC and Champions Cup but they only just beat the Stormers at home last Saturday to back-up a decent 23-29 result at Scarlets. Despite the hosts recent spell, Edinburgh still have an unbeaten record at home and backing them as outright winners to edge this seems the reasonable call.
