THE PREDICTION
Perpignan were thumped by 52-12 at Clermont Auvergne last Saturday but they would have expected little more on the road. They have six wins this season with five coming on home soil but travelling Racing 92 come as the Top 14’s most in-form side and one of only a handful that could be confidently backed to leave the comfortable victors. Racing 92 extended their Top 14 winning streak to six after a 45-25 romp to victory at home to Castres last Saturday and they have beaten both the reigning champions Toulouse and current leaders Bordeaux in their last two away games. Perpignan beat Toulouse 36-13 here this time last month but lost 23-28 to Lyon the match before, so backing the away side to split the difference and cover -2 looks a sensible target.
