Portsmouth vs Leicester prediction

Portsmouth come into this one on the back of a brilliant 2-0 defeat of automatic promotion chasing Ipswich Town at Fratton Park in midweek, courtesy of goals from Conor Shaughnessy and Colby Bishop; backing up a 1-0 win at the Riverside Stadium against Town’s fellow automatic promotion challengers Middlesbrough last weekend.

Leicester, on the other hand, are slipping towards back-to-back relegations from the Premier League with the Foxes having succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at home to Preston North End last weekend. They are five points adrift of safety with four games to go and a defeat at Portsmouth could really spell the end for City in the top two tiers.

It is remarkable to suggest the 2016 Premier League title winners are now in a position whereby League One football is inevitable ten years on – but that is the case.
