Reigning champions Napoli head into this one on the back of a frustrating draw last weekend as they welcome Lazio to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Napoli preview: Frustrated Partenopei

Antonio Conte has got several key players back fit, and the Neapolitans had discovered some form but, just as they sought to put pressure on champions-elect Internazionale, Napoli have stumbled.

Going a goal down inside a minute at the Ennio Tardini against Parma last weekend, Napoli could only snatch a 1-1 draw mid-way through the second-half with an excellent equalised scored by Scott McTominay.

Lazio preview: Indifferent Lazio

Lazio come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat to Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi in Florence with a 28th minute winner scored by Germany international wing-back Robin Gosens.

The Romans have struggled throughout the campaign with difficulties off the pitch but Maurizio Sarri's side had shown some signs of improvement before the March international break a few weeks ago.

Napoli team news: Nothing fresh

There are no fresh injury concerns for Napoli to deal with this weekend as Antonio Vergara remains sidelined alongside David Neres and captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Milinkovic-Savic; Juan, Buongiorno, Mathias Olivera; Politano, Lobotka, Anguissa, Spinazzola; McTominay, De Bruyne; Hojlund

Unavailable: Di Lorenzo (Injured), Vergara (Injured), David Neres (Injured)

Questionable: Rrahmani (Injured), Lukaku (Injured)

Lazio team news: Loads of injuries

Attacking midfielder Daniel Maldini is a doubt for this one alongside both Mario Gila and Adam Marusic, while Ivan Provedel is sidelined alongside both Samuel Gigot and Nicolo Rovella.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Motta; Lazzari, Prostvgaard, Romagnoli, Tavares; Basic, Patric, Taylor; Cancellieri, Dia, Zaccagni

Unavailable: Provedel (Injured), Gigot (Injured), Rovella (Injured)

Questionable: Mario Gila (Injured), Marusic (Injured), Maldini (Injured)

Napoli vs Lazio prediction

That improvement has since immediately subsided upon their return and the Laziale are drifting towards an underwhelming mid-table finish in Italy's top-flight. Napoli, especially with their home advantage, should be expected and backed to come out on top but, such is their fairly frustrating Conte-led style of football, a low-scoring encounter seems likely for this one down in Campania.
