KAY HANSEN VS JASMINE JASUDAVICIUS LOWDOWN
It’s been over a year since we’ve last seen Kay Hansen (7-4) in action. Hansen is coming off of a loss to Cory McKenna back in November 2020. Prior to the loss against McKenna, Kay was on a three-fight win streak and looked destined to climb her way up the rankings. Now, it’s a case of starting from scratch and trying to impress the UFC with a big win this weekend.
As for Jasudavicius (6-1), she earned a chance to compete in the UFC following a win against Julia Polastri in the DWCS. Making her debut this weekend, Jasudavicius will be eager to taste victory. Currently, riding a two-fight win streak, Jasmine Jasudavicius is going into this weekend’s fight with Hansen as a moderate underdog.

Hansen will be moving up a weight class for this fight, and it shows. Jasudavicius has a five-inch height advantage over Kay. The Canadian will be looking to use the height significance to her advantage. With that being said, Jasudavicius has a tough debut on her hands. She’ll be aiming to keep the fight on the fight. On the other hand, Jasudavicius does love to clinch. That will benefit Hansen immensely as she is certainly an effective grappler. If we see the version of Hansen before the McKenna defeat, then it could be a long afternoon for Jasudavicius.
