WINNIPEG JETS
- Winnipeg Jets got back to winning ways and improved to 6-6-0 after claiming an overtime victory over Calgary Flames in their last match but now face a tough trip to Anaheim to face the Ducks.
- The Jets collected their second win from their last three games thanks to Bryan Little’s goal after regulation and they managed to force overtime late in the third period after managing to tie up the game having trailed 1-0.
- Forward Mason Appleton broke a bone in his foot when playing football prior to a practice session last week and will be missing for at least a month. He is joined by fellow forward Adam Lowry on the sidelines who has been hit with a two-game ban for boarding.
ANAHEIM DUCKS
- Anaheim Ducks were unable to make it back-to-back wins in what turned out to be their fourth loss in their last five matches as they went down to Vegas Golden Knights and have fallen to 7-6-0.
- The Ducks started well to take the lead early on but allowed the Golden Knights to respond immediately and that set the tone for the rest of the game as they conceded two further goals in the first period before eventually losing out 2-5.
- Hampus Lindholm missed the game against the Golden Knights because of a lower-body injury and he remains a doubt for this contest with the Ducks desperate to get their top defenseman back on the ice as soon as possible.

Anaheim Ducks are on a poor run of form after their strong start to the season and will be desperate to put a winning run together starting with this game at home to Winnipeg Jets. The Jets will be looking to make it three wins from their last four matches and having won the last four contests against the Ducks, they can extend that streak to five matches with another victory in this game.
