Hull KR will want to at least maintain a four-point gap between themselves and seventh-place, so victory is essential against Toulouse.

Hull KR team news: Lewis and Pangai Jr left out

Willie Peters has sent a message by dropping both Mikey Lewis and Tevita Pangai Jr, after both were handed suspensions that weren’t sent to begin until next week. Lewis’ disciplinary issues especially, are becoming a huge concern.

Toulouse team news: Pons among three additions

Mathieu Pons is one of three players who come into the Toulouse squad, with Victor Collin and Ethan Quai-Ward joining him. They replace Rob Butler, Louis Grossemy and Jake Shorrocks.

Hull KR vs Toulouse prediction

Hull KR fell to a rare defeat at Craven Park earlier in the week, losing to Warrington Wolves as ill-discipline cost them dearly. Willie Peters made a statement with his dropping of both Lewis and Pangai Jr and has no doubt read the riot act to the rest of his players. He’ll want a big response against a Toulouse side who have lost their last four.

Expect a more focused Hull KR, who won’t be sucked into anything unruly by the opposition. They are far better than Toulouse, with stronger players and an offense that could really destroy the visitors if on song. The handicap is worth a play, specifically back a victory by over 20 points for the home side.
