Melbourne Storm vs Penrith Panthers prediction

Penrith Panthers have really stumbled recently as the regular season reaches the final stretch and defeat in a top of the table clash to Sydney Roosters last time out saw them knocked off the summit of NRL. That made it three defeats in Penrith’s last time games and Ivan Cleary’s side are wobbling. With that in mind, Melbourne Storm could be afforded a rare opportunity.

The Storm are coming off the back of a hugely morale boosting 42-20 win over Manly Sea Eagles where everything really clicked for them offensively. They are still in the race for the top eight but simply must keep winning. Whilst they are big underdogs here, Penrith are wobbling and if ever there was a time to play them, you could argue that this is it for Melbourne Storm. With home advantage, there is real value in backing Storm pulling off a memorable upset.
