TSZ TIPS

MATT FITZPATRICK

  • After a seventh European Tour success, England’s Matt Fitzpatrick will hope to build on his recent win at the Andalucía Masters by pushing for his maiden win on the PGA Tour and he looks set to start as favourite for this event.
  • Whether he can handle the pressure of that status remains to be seen but if he can replicate the form he showed at Valderrama, the 27-year-old show certainly put himself in the mix for the title.

TIP: Winner e/w (14/1)

MITO PEREIRA

  • Chilean Mito Pereira made an eye-catching start to the season with a third-placed finish at the Fortinet Championship and while he hasn’t been able to replicate that performance, he looks capable of competing in this week’s field.
  • He has managed to finish in the top 40 at both the Sanderson Farms Championship as well as the Shriners but he will be looking to force his way into the top 20 this time around and should be able to do that with a slight lift in his performance across the board.

TIP: Top 20 finish (5/4)

PATRICK REED

  • Ryder Cup disappointment served Sam Burns well as he won the Sanderson Farms Championship to begin the new PGA Tour season and Patrick Reed will hope to follow that up in this event in Bermuda.
  • The American has not fared well at the start of the campaign but the week off last week should have allowed him to refocus and he looks to have the game to perform well around here to kick-start his season.

TIP: Winner e/w (22/1)
