THE PREDICTION
Grid penalties are becoming a common occurrence in the F1 Championship this year with several drivers being penalised this time around, including Red Bull pair Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton. On the face of it, this looks to be a huge advantage for Charles Leclerc, who is currently second in the standings, but it is hard to look past Verstappen clawing him back. The reigning champion was even further back on the grid a couple of weeks ago in Belgium, but soared through the pack to take a commanding victory, and the same outcome is expected in Monza despite what will be fervent support for Ferrari from the Italian fans.
