After failing to qualify from their Champions League group for the first time in 20 years last season, a strong start for Barcelona is paramount here, especially given that Internazionale and Bayern Munich are the other two teams in the group. Viktoria Plzen – who came through three qualifying round (inclusive of the play-offs) – have made a bright start to their domestic season but they will ultimately be seen as the whipping boys of the group. The Czech side will struggle to compete with the Catalan giants here, with the likes of Robert Lewandowski no doubt causing them plenty of problems. The Pole has been in fine goalscoring form for his new club so far this season, and can be backed to find the net here in a Barca victory.
