Ross County made it back-to-back wins in less than a week with a 0-1 victory at Motherwell on Wednesday and they have lost just one of their last seven Scottish Premiership games. Given the form of sides above them it would be a surprise to see County inside the top six come the league split in four games time and they should be fancied to heap more misery on St. Mirren, who have yet to win since losing manager Jim Goodwin to Aberdeen. Back-to-back defeats to nil at home to Hearts and most recently at Celtic are admittedly tough fixtures but backing hosts Ross County to avoid defeat here with double chance seems the likelier way this result leans.
