Inter come into this one on the back of a 4-0 thrashing of in-form Atalanta at San Siro in midweek with goals scored by Matteo Darmian, Lautaro Martinez, Federico Dimarco and Davide Frattesi. They have scored four in each of their last four Serie A matches and have won their last 11 matches across all competitions.
GENOA
In fact, quite remarkably, the last time they didn’t win a game was in late-December when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Genoa. Genoa have been steady throughout the campaign, following promotion from Serie B last season. Coached by 2006 Italian FIFA World Cup winner, Alberto Gilardino has his side sitting firmly in the middle-of-the-table.
They come into this one on the back of a 2-0 win over Udinese in their most recent outing at the Luigi Ferraris with goals scored by Mateo Retegui and Marco Bani in the first-half. Genoa have now suffered just one defeat in their last 11 matches in Serie A, albeit six of those games finished all-square.

As mentioned, Inter have scored four in each of their last four Serie A matches so, it has to be said, that run has to come to an end, albeit Simone Inzaghi’s side are simply magnificent in both defence and attack. Genoa are in steady form looking to push towards the top-half but may be a little more difficult to beat than previous opponents. Inter should still get over the line quite comfortably on Monday evening.
