This time around, though, they endured a 14-match winless run of form and head into the run in firmly involved in the relegation battle.
The home team come into this one on the back of a continuation of their improvement in form in their most recent outing in Bergamo last week against Atalanta. They fought back from 2-0 down in that game to share a 2-2 draw and they have now suffered just three defeats in their last nine matches.

Andrea Sottil was relieved of his duties during the November international break with Udinese continuing to underperform for what must have been around 12 months.
