THE PREDICTION
Oman avoided a third straight loss as they got the better of Belarus in their latest friendly at the back end of November. They will now go in search of a second successive win and will be confident of doing so. They have lost just two of their last nine matches, both 1-0 defeats to Jordan and Germany, and with opponents Syria coming into this having lost their last four after going down to Venezuela, it would be a surprise if Oman were unable to prevail in this encounter.
