THE LOWDOWN
WEST HAM
David Moyes will be keen to see his side reassert themselves in the Premier League after their lacklustre display in defeat to Aston Villa last weekend, and it's fair to say their European exertions are effecting them domestically as they have won just once in their last five Premier League games.
Indeed, they suffered their first Europa League defeat of the season on Thursday when they came away from Olympiakos empty handed, although they remain in a strong position in their group in that competition.
EVERTON
Everton battled hard in the Merseyside Derby last weekend but Jurgen Klopp's side ultimately continued his dominance over them in that fixture, and the Toffees remain in a perilous position in the Premier League table, albeit at this fairly early stage of the season.
Sean Dyche's men held out the majority of the clash with their local rivals despite playing a good proportion of the match with ten men, but a Mo Salah double ensured that the bragging rights belonged to the Reds.
THE TEAM NEWS
WEST HAM
Left-back Emerson is suspended after crossing the yellow card threshold, but Moyes can once again call on Aaron Cresswell, who returned to the matchday squad in Thursday's Europa League meeting with Olympiakos.
Vladimir Coufal was not part of Thursday's travelling squad, but it is thought the right-back will be fit to return here.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Areola; Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Cresswell; Ward-Prowse, Alvarez; Bowen, Soucek, Paqueta; Antonio
UNAVAILABLE: Emerson (Suspended)
QUESTIONABLE: Fabianksi (Illness), Coufal (Injured)
EVERTON
Ashley Young serves his one-match suspension after being given his marching orders in the Merseyside Derby, so Nathan Patterson could be given an opportunity at right-back.
Seamus Coleman has made his return to training but he is not yet deemed ready to make the squad just yet.
PREDICTED XI (4-4-1-1): Pickford; Patterson, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Harrison, Garner, Onana, McNeil; Doucoure; Calvert-Lewin
UNAVAILABLE: Coleman (Fitness), Young (Suspended), Gomes (Injured), Dele (Injured)

THE PREDICTION
Given the fact that West Ham have hit a bit of a rocky patch, Sean Dyche will be urging his Everton side to take advantage should their opponents continue to underperform. Indeed, the Toffees displayed plenty of fight against Liverpool last weekend, but replicating that game after game has long been a problem for them. West Ham are still scoring goals, but they look suspect at the back right now, so consider both to teams to score here, especially as that has been the case in the Hammers' last four games in all competitions.
BETTING TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
