THE LOWDOWN

TOTTENHAM

  • Spurs remain unbeaten in the Premier League and in touch with the leaders but they come into this off the back of a disappointing midweek defeat to Sporting CP in the Champions League.
  • A key decision for Antonio Conte here is whether to keep faith with the under-performing Heung-Min Son or bring the South Korean out of the starting line-up in favour of a front three consisting of Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Harry Kane.

LEICESTER

  • Bottom-of-the-table Leicester have endured a miserable campaign so far and Brendan Rodgers really needs a positive result from his men prior to the international break.
  • Centre-back Wout Faes could make his debut after signing from Reims, while Jamie Vardy is poised for a return to the starting line-up after being benched against Brighton last time out.

THE TEAM NEWS

TOTTENHAM

PREDICTED XI (3-4-3): Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Sessegnon; Richarlison, Kane, Son

UNAVAILABLE: Lucas Moura (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Emerson (Fatigue)

LEICESTER

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Ward; Justin, Faes, Evans, Thomas; Ndidi, Tielemans. Dewsbury-Hall; Maddison, Vardy, Barnes

UNAVAILABLE: Bertrand (Injured), Pereira (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Praet (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

After the disappointment of their Champions League defeat on Tuesday, there is perhaps no better fixture right now than Leicester for Antonio Conte’s Spurs side. The Foxes have had a disastrous start to the campaign and look disjointed all over the pitch, and it would take a huge improvement in performance from them to keep the hosts at bay in this one. Tottenham still haven’t lost in the league this season and that record is likely to continue into the international break, with Conte’s men tipped to be leading at both half-time and full-time.

TIP: DOUBLE RESULT – TOTTENHAM / TOTTENHAM
