THE LOWDOWN
MAN CITY
- Man City continue to apply the pressure on Arsenal at the top of the Premier League and can – temporarily at least – go top should they see off Fulham here.
- Pep Guardiola was coy once again regarding the availability of Erling Haaland but the Norwegian was pictured in training and seems to have a good chance of returning to pitch, although Julian Alvarez has proven himself to be an able deputy if needed.
FULHAM
- Fulham kept just their second clean sheet of the season when they played out a goalless draw with Everton last weekend but that is now four games unbeaten in the Premier League with Marco Silva’s side currently enjoying a top-half position in the table.
- Neeskens Kebano suffered a ruptured Achilles in training and will be out for several months, while Bobby Decordova-Reid is suspended for this match after picking up five yellow cards over the course of the season.

THE PREDICTION
Fulham have enjoyed an excellent season so far but getting a result at the Etihad is the ultimate test of a Premier League team and it is difficult to imagine them laying a glove on this relentless Man City side. The reigning champions have certainly missed the presence of Erling Haaland up front lately, but even if the deadly Norwegian striker doesn’t return from injury here, they still have enough quality to get the job done. Fulham’s success this season has not been down to defensive solidity, so expected them to concede at least a couple to City here in a match likely to contain over 2.5 goals.
TIP: MAN CITY TO WIN & OVER 2.5 GOALS
