- After a nightmare start to the season which saw them rooted inside the bottom three, Leicester have since turned their fortunes around and went into the World Cup break having won four of their last five Premier League fixtures.
- The Foxes are without a number of defenders for this match, such as Ryan Bertrand, Jonny Evans, James Justin, Ricardo Pereira and possibly Caglar Soyuncu.
NEWCASTLE
- Newcastle have proven to be the surprise package within the Premier League this season and come into this match on the back of five consecutive top flight victories and a lofty position of third-place in the table.
- An injury setback has ruled star striker Alexander Isak out until the new year, but it would be no surprise if Eddie Howe opts for the same starting XI that beat Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup this past Tuesday night.

THE PREDICTION
Both teams advanced through in their respective midweek Carabao Cup fixtures and each are well set to take their good form into the second half of the season. Newcastle though, have been by far the more consistent since August and you get the feeling that Eddie Howe has got something special brewing among his squad of players. When taking into account the quality of Newcastle defence, it’s hard to see them being beaten even away from home. They are more than capable of gaining at least a point, if not all three at Leicester and should be backed to do just that via the double chance market.
