THE LOWDOWN
LEICESTER
- Two own goals from centre-back Wout Faes put paid to Leicester’s hopes of getting anything at Anfield as they lost 2-1 against Liverpool and only the wastefulness of the Reds prevented it from being more.
- The Foxes won’t be able to welcome back any of their injured defenders for this match, whilst James Maddison also remains out injured.
FULHAM
- Fulham recorded back-to-back Premier League victories after beating Southampton 2-1 at Craven Cottage, backing up their win away at Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.
- It’s unlikely that Marco Silva will make any changes here with a fully-functioning system working wonders at the moment for this current squad.

THE PREDICTION
It’s a testament as to how well Fulham are playing and the winning run that they are on post the World Cup resumption, that they will be confident of going to Leicester and picking up three points. Leicester looked to have gotten over their defensive woes before the World Cup break, but seem to have reverted back to type in their last two matches. Whilst Fulham may well take advantage, Leicester themselves pose a significant threat offensively and a high-scoring encounter may be in prospect. As has been the case in all four Premier League fixtures involving either Leicester or Fulham since December, expect over 2.5 goals to be scored.
