THE LOWDOWN

EVERTON

  • Everton are one of only two sides yet to taste victory in the Premier League this season but Frank Lampard was able to take plenty of positives from his side’s goalless draw with city rivals Liverpool last time out.
  • Jordan Pickford was instrumental in earning his side that point but the England international will miss out here with a thigh injury, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin is being considered after returning to training.

WEST HAM

  • Although they are going along well in the Europa Conference League, West Have just one win to speak of in the Premier League but they have a somewhat kind fixture run now, beginning with this trip to the winless Toffees.
  • Craig Dawson and Aaron Cresswell have both recently returned to action but Moyes may be cautious with the pair as successive starts in quick succession risks re-injury.

THE PREDICTION

Everton and West Ham only have one win to speak of between them in the Premier League this season and both managers will be eyeing this as a fixture in which to turn their domestic fortunes around. Of the two though, it is the Hammers who look the likelier to put in a performance. Some good results in Europe is bound to have boosted confidence in the camp, and with Everton missing key player Jordan Pickford in goal, they will fancy their chances of winning their third straight game in all competitions.

TIP: WEST HAM DRAW NO BET
