THE TEAM NEWS
BURNLEY
Vincent Kompany will be able to welcome key attacker David Datro Fofana back into the Clarets squad after the Ivorian missed their weekend's draw with Chelsea as he was ineligible to play against his parent club.
Burnley will now, though, be without defender Lorenz Assignon because of the red card he received in that match. Ameen Al Dakhil and Jordan Beyer remain among a fairly big group sidelined through injury for the Lancastrians.
PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Muric; Vitinho, O'Shea, Esteve, Taylor; Larsen, Cullen, Berge, Odobert; Amdouni, Fofana
UNAVAILABLE: Beyer (Injured), Al Dakhil (Injured), Assignon (Suspended), Massengo (Injured), Ramsey (Injured), Koleosho (Injured), Redmond (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE:
WOLVES
Gary O'Neil has key attacker Matheus Cunha back in contention after his relatively long absence with a hamstring injury. Craig Dawson could also return as he recovers from a groin issue.
The visitors remain without several key forwards, though, as Pedro Neto is sidelined through injury alongside both Hwang Hee-chan and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.
PREDICTED XI (3-5-1-1): Sa; Kilman, S. Bueno, Toti; Semedo, Joao Gomes, Doyle, Lemina, Ait-Nouri; Sarabia; Chiwome
UNAVAILABLE: Pedro Neto (Injured), Bellegarde (Injured), Hwang (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Dawson (Injured)
THE PREDICTION
Vincent Kompany’s Burnley fought back twice at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon to earn a 2-2 draw against Chelsea with Dara O’Shea scoring an 81st minute equaliser. They are now unbeaten in their last three matches and the Clarets are, remarkably, still just about keeping themselves alive. They now face a Wolverhampton Wanderers side that were comfortably defeated by two goals to nil by Aston Villa at Villa Park the other day. Gary O’Neil’s Wolves remain in contention for a top seven or eight finish. Games against weaker sides have often proved difficult for arch-pragmatist O’Neil so, as a result of that, their current form and home advantage, siding with Burnley may well appear like a good value option here.
TIP: DOUBLE CHANCE – BURNLEY TO WIN OR DRAW
