THE LOWDOWN
KORTRIJK
The home team come into this on the back of an impressive and entertaining opening day performance and result, away to Gent. Kortrijk took an early lead at a side likely to be contending in the top four before falling 3-1 down, eventually scoring a late consolation to lose 3-2. They finished last season in the bottom-half of the table and fought against relegation for much of the campaign so the reduction of the Belgian top-flight from 18 to 16 teams will mean the pressure has grown on the club.
SINT-TRUIDEN
The Belgian Jupiler Pro League has had a theme of being one of the most entertaining in European and world football with over three goals per game on average last season. Sint-Truiden, though, were one of the more conservative sides with just 77 goals coming in their 34 matches last season, only one team scored fewer goals than them. They began in similarly resolute but defensively impressive fashion this time, though, with a slender 1-0 win over Standard Liege last weekend.
THE PREDICTED LINE-UPS
KORTRIJK
Kortrijk have no injuries or suspensions so are expected to go with an unchanged 4-4-2 system after an impressive opening match day showing against Gent.
PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Vandenberghe; Wasinski, Silva, Radovanovic, De Neve; Mbayo, Mehssatou, Montegnies, Kadri; Bruno, Avenatti

SINT-TRUIDEN
Like Kortrijk, Sint-Truiden also have no injuries or suspensions so they are expected to remain unchanged following their defeat of Standard Liege last week.
PREDICTED XI (3-4-2-1): Schmidt; van Helden, Smets, Godeau; Ananou, Delorge-Knieper, Ito, Bocat; Steuckers, Koita; Kaya

THE PREDICTION
Under the management of Edward Still, Kortrijk are a bit more gung-ho than Sint-Truiden and, usually, when there is a clash of styles but the clash of styles comes between two relatively limited sides, the more reactive and defensively strong team drags themselves out on top. A low-scoring double chance bet in favour of the away team, following that logic, would therefore appear the way to go for this one.
TIP: DOUBLE CHANCE – SINT-TRUIDEN TO WIN OR DRAW & UNDER 3.5 GOALS
