GENK VS ZULTE WAREGEM PREDICTION
It seems going top of the Belgian Pro League has been a poisoned chalice for any side not called Club Brugge this season after Beerschot and now Genk have gone on long winless runs since reaching the summit. Genk were scoring for fun before Christmas but are winless in four league games now after Club Brugge exacted their authority on the table by beating them 3-2 on Sunday. That ended a five-match streak of away games that could be in some part to blame for Genk’s downturn in form and they finally return home here to face Zulte-Waregem. The visitors were in emphatic form themselves until last Thursday but two quick defeats at home to OH Leuven and Beerschot seem to have ended that run now. Zulte-Waregem have conceded six goals in the space of three days and should be ripe for the taking now at home to Genk. Both teams look set to score but the hosts can rally themselves with much-needed win here.
