Finland vs Italy prediction

It’s been an inconsistent group stage so far for Finland, who began with a comprehensive 4-1 defeat at the hands of Slovakia. But since then, they’ve responded well, beating Sweden by the same scoreline with an excellent first period setting the tone as they scored two without reply. Italy meanwhile, sit rock bottom of Group B having lost twice so far.

Whilst Italy did give Slovakia a real test, only going down by three points to two, Finland appears to be really clicking as an all-round unit and should come out of the blocks very quickly against this Italian side. It would be no surprise if the Finnish forwards overwhelm their opponents on the ice and lead their nation to another big win.
